HSHA Rate Gyro

Interested in increasing productivity and reducing drill rig downtime? Having trouble with single shot readings?

Digital Surveying's HSHA Rate Gyro is the answer.

Drill rig downtime is a major cost associated with in-rod surveying. By utilising our HSHA North Seeking Rate Gyro rig downtime will be reduced by 50% representing significant savings to any drilling program. Not only will there be cost saving in downtime, the driller/ geologist will have confidence in knowing precisely where the drill hole has gone.

The thin barrel configuration of this tool (42.3mm) allows us to survey inside 4" RC rods and BQ rod string.

Typical survey time for a 1000m hole is 1 hour with survey data points every 5metres and every metre through directional drilled sections.

Horizontal to slightly inclined holes can now be surveyed with our HSHA Rate Gyro by utilising special pump equipment.

The HSHA Rate Gyro eliminates the need for surveyors to provide a starting azimuth (it seeks north).
