About the Role

Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Geoscience Sales Consultant to join our team. This role involves promoting and selling our innovative geoscience products and services to clients in various industries. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geoscience, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sales.

Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, moving prospects through the sales pipeline.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key accounts.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
- Proposal Development: Construct detailed client proposals tailored to their specific needs.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Sales Reporting: Analyze sales data and prepare reports to track performance and inform sales plan adjustments.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless project delivery and client success & satisfaction.
- Event Participation: Represent the company at industry events and trade shows to promote our products and services.
- Marketing: Implement marketing plans to promote our products and services.
- Content Creation: Contribute content for the creation of engaging marketing materials, including brochures and social media content.
- Campaign Execution: Collaborate in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to generate leads and increase brand awareness.

Requirements

  • Experience:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the geoscience or related industries.

  • Skills:

  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Ability to compile and structure sales proposals effectively.

  • Attributes:

  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

  • Intensity & tenacity to tackle sales and marketing activities with the consistency required to achieve the agreed upon targets.
